Interesting hearing on 129,000 pound trucks. One interesting thing is that even though the trucks are heavier they have less weight per tire and axle and more brakes so they stop faster and do less damage to the road surface. The real question is bridges where the weight effects are different because the weight on each span is what is important so less weight per square inch does not make a difference.
