The biggest hurdle for collecting the sales tax on internet sales is being addressed in the U.S. Senate. Out of state businesses target Idahoans for the sale of their goods over the internet but do not collect the sales tax. This costs Idaho millions every year and puts our local businesses at a disadvantage. It is not a tax increase regardless of what some claim. It only collects taxes that already should be paid.
